In 2022 my mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s dementia. It’s an awful disease so I’m going on a big walk to make my mum proud & to help more families experience more better days.

A last trip up the Radio City tower yesterday to bid farewell to a Liverpool icon. Those walls hold many memories, It’s been a privilege to have played a tiny part in the history of a station I listened to growing up, in the best office, keeping watch over the greatest CITY in the world. First week on Bluesky has been a refreshing experience. The most encouraging part is being able to control my own algorithm. Only following local news accounts and politicians and only posting about footy and pictures of scenery, sunsets, swans and boats. Long may it continue. 🙏
