The Arsenal - home and the occasional away
Orlando Magic
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs clinging on by our fingernails. Now hoping for the unlikely event of a Saints win tomorrow 💀

Shout out to the Bournemouth fella that lowered his head into Gabi's arm, fell over and then claimed an elbow, wasted a lovely bit of time at the end there 🙂

Rice is an outstanding footballer. Pure definition of box to box. Struggling with an injury to go and do what he's just done there is incredible, he was everywhere.
I thought we saw the game out really well after their second, it was obviously nervy but we gave nothing away.

GET IN THERE!!!
January 3, 2026 at 7:26 PM
Tough as expected, not helped by that howler, but fair play to big Gabi for responding. Struggling with their pressing here and I know Noni did well for the goal but in general, we're not getting much from the front 3 at all.

Tonight's game scares me. Off the back of a cracking win, we need to follow up with another but our record here isn't brilliant. After not winning for so long, football has a funny way of writing stories like them ending that run against the league leaders.

With the injuries we've had so far this season, to be 4 clear at the half way stage having played Villa twice and everyone else in the top 8 aside from City away from home is really good going. 19 cup finals to go.

Get in there Sunderland! Well played Granit Xhaka. Superb!

Damn, I was hoping Chelsea would have kept hold of Enzo until our semi final ties.

Happy new year to all of you. Here's to a memorable year 🙏

Another Magic game, another one right down to the wire. Good to get over the line on this one to round off the year 🙂

Absolutely buzzing, what a second half! Feels like a half like that has been looming for a while, so to deliver it tonight against Villa, especially after the reverse fixture is so sweet! Get in!!
And shout out Raya for another outrageous piece of goalkeeping again!? How was that even possible! 😂

Villa always do well at our place with their direct approach on the break. We aren't taking enough risks but I suspect part of that is due to the fear of giving it away and leaving us outnumbered on the break.

Nooooooooo?!?!?!!?!!
🚨 Declan Rice expected to miss Arsenal’s match against Aston Villa tonight after sustaining a knee injury in 2-1 victory over Brighton.

#AFC hopeful it will be short absence but don't want to risk aggravating issue further.

Ugh, another really bad Bucs loss. So many mistakes. Somehow we still have a chance next week purely because our division is so terrible. #WeAreTheKrewe

A nervy one in the end today but got over the line. Rice out of position and struggling physically was amazing, and Raya's save was absolutely world class. But today the big plus was for me was Odegaard, looking really good again.

Ok, so who's playing where?? 😂
December 27, 2025 at 1:48 PM
Merry Christmas you lovely bluesky lot 🙂 enjoy your day and up the Gunners! x

First half - great
Second half - not so great
Penalties - brilliant
Finishing - room for improvement
Top of the league and CL and through to the semis of the cup - Oooh yeah 😎

Really enjoyable half from us with just the goal/s missing. Hopefully Martinelli is ok because he's looked electric. I can't imagine Palace will allow that matchup to continue for too much longer.
December 23, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Phew, big win! Tough place to go and not an easy watch, however on reflection we didn't give much away at all. And breathe 😁
December 20, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Hmm, if we get through against Palace, I'm not sure I fancy any of City, Newcastle or Chelsea, especially over two legs 🤮
December 17, 2025 at 10:40 PM
And then just pure and utter relief. Saka especially nd Rice really dragged us through that, apart from that, so so much to improve.

A human body should not have to go through that sort of emotion is that last 5 mins. I was absolutely furious when they equalised it was so obvious, we were just ambling about, no pressure on the ball whatsoever, I completely lost it.

The emotions 😅
