GS woodpecker near Uranus
8 corn buntings + 1 yellowhammer with flock of linnets & fieldfares between Naburn village and Moor Lane bridge
Singing song thrush near Marina

There were 4 corn buntings with a fieldfare flock in this tree on the cycle track at Naburn late morning. Also flock of linnets & goldfinches, plus 2 greenfinches, at least 6 yellowhammers, 2 reed buntings & a goldcrest.
Little egret on Bish Ings + red kite near Brunswick.

American wigeon wasn't at the pond off Langrickegate Road at 4.40pm today (or at 5.30 on my way back). Tried the Refuge from East Cottingwith - not there either but 10 whooper swans and more black-tailed godwits than I could count. @yorkbirding.bsky.social @birdguides.bsky.social
