Just checked the mail … received a 4 page letter from Pierre Pollievre asking me to support my
Local candidate Melissa Young. Was a day late and a dollar short as they sa, as it had to arrive Tuesday - wasn’t there “Election” Monday night when I checked the mail for my car sticker. 😂

6 months ago the Liberal
party in Canada was on the brink of extinction. Anticipated they couldn’t even ask a question in Parliament (like the NDP today sadly). They are now back in charge - why - because they weren’t abusive and care for people. That’s Canada. Love it.

I can say that today is a sad day for Canada. Not because the Liberals won the election last night - I am a Liberal and proud of it. It is because Conservatives can’t accept the vote of the people. Posts of upside down flags, headstones of Canada with graphic content.

It baffles me that the BQ and Blanchet - who will never be PM (if they win every seat in Quebec they’d still be 100 short) and Singh, who is praying for party status at this point, continue to bash Carney. Is Pollievre (mini Trump) your best wish? That’s scary.

According to the Canadian Conservatives, I will now have to forage for food … when does this start? I need to buy tools.

Why is the CBC continually accepting Conservative rhetoric that Anaida Pollievre is from Montreal?? She is from Venezuela - arrived in Canada at 8 years old as a refugee. Is this why PP won’t try for his security clearance? Someone help me here.

Watching Pollievre right now … they have nothing. Slandering Carney, pipelines would exist but for Quebec (who are actually blocking, not the Liberals). I truly have not seen such desperation before in Canadian politics. He invests in Carney’s former company. He is Trump with two languages.

So I have no idea what the answer is … looking for healthy debate and thoughts … what if Canada told Trump to kick sand … do what you need to do. Have a solid backbone against the mighty USA. More importantly, call the bluff! What are potential outcomes?

Other than blocking - is there a way to “not follow” accounts that have followed you and clear them from the “list”?

So, I’ve been reading articles and watching interviews with business owners across Canada regarding the Canada Post strike. We’ve known about this issue for a year .. did anyone think they wouldn’t enact action 6 weeks before Christmas? Do it in July? Why did they not put contingency plans in place?

After 16 years, have deactivated Twitter account (can’t call it X). Whew. Can’t wait to see where we go here!
