I can see why people have drifted away because of the mess ups and uturns, but it ain't easy, it isn't sexy stuff that makes a difference and there's a lot to clean up.

I think they have some genuine successes to talk about, they hope the stats will start to come in elsewhere like NHS, steady economic growth, house market affordability, rail improvements, local authority investment and they have to find a way to get that across.

Right in the middle of AFCON.

Is neutral different to target that was previously 2%? Wonder what impact is of moving from 2 to 3% in practical terms. Always seemed quite arbitrary?

Brilliant performance from the squad.

MPs an obvious comparison too. If they lose a seat they might have had 2 terms in, quite hard to get back to a day job I imagine, especially in your 40s and 50s. Oh and Liz Truss, Nadine Dorries, Leadsome. Basically grifters.

Broadly in line with Reform's vote share then.

Good to get this type of wake up call now. Last season it was Stoke in the 2nd round of the Carabou. We deserved a couple of goals but would still have got beat. System needs work, especially attacking patterns. Squad needs an overhaul. Injuries are an issue.

Got there eventually. Hope he's as good as the original.

Why a simple tax wasn't applied to Google, Facebook, X etc and that money given to local media is beyond me. I think it will come back in some form as people would like it and will pay a small subscription. People used to pay for printed copies and have it delivered. LondonCentric a good example.

Heard a listener comment on Radio5 that 16 and 17yr old would be too emotional. I think this line was also used against women too. Also that women would vote for the best looking! Scenes.

Ethnic cleanse point also bullshit
July 5, 2025 at 9:35 AM
The ethnic cleansing point and managing for those within the M25. What is he actually trying to say? Its incoherent at best and a bit dark. He's got a speech to do, it's in Rochdale, so he's hitting some statements to get press, but it's a bit all over the place.

Nobody wants to pay and the deficit has just expanded to 19bn. Business not happy with NiC etc, middle class not happy with fiscal drag, pensioners not happy with winter fuel. Its one constituency and its a story of that constituencies mood to life today. Different elsewhere.
