Today’s #powerwalk took us up and back about 3 miles on Jupiter Beach in fantastic Florida. Our friend Adam Garr and I are down here shooting video and not being snowed on.

Hey BlueSky did you know there’s a suburb of Cleveland that has 200+ bentgrass lawns? They are mostly seeded Penncross, maintained about .75” and cared for by 3-4 LCOs who specialize in managing bent for homeowners. As far as I can tell, Shaker Heights is the bent lawn capital of the world.

My favorite find of 2024! This was a bucket list mushroom for me until my wife and I stumbled upon an amazing display of this unusual fungus earlier this year. This is Hydnellum peckii, the bleeding tooth fungus. Did you know that the liquid is found to have anticoagulant properties? 🤯🧠 🍄📷 📸🎞 📷 🩸 🍄

Starting fresh in Bluesky is an interesting exercise. As I consider which topics I want to follow here I am forced to admit I am way too interested in the “Real Housewives” franchise. I could blame Mrs Jones for addicting me but, as Buffett said, it’s my own damn fault.
