I'm very proud to coordinate this project with this fantastic team. We will gain a lot of insights in how to optimize the use of eDNA for species detection in a complex coastal ecosystem.
We officially kicked-off eDNA-OPTIMA. In this project, we deploy samplers on a USV, improve detection of benthic invertebrates, aim to understand how eDNA is transported by ocean currents, etc.
