I suppose I should actually get started on here! My name is Dellen, and I’m a zoologist, currently researching a widespread Plethodontid salamander in the Midwest!

Hoping to stay connected to science and the rest of the world in getting active here!
For anyone who came to see my talk this morning at #JMIH2025 (thank you!), if you are interested in my work in more depth, keep an eye out over the next few months! Eric Gangloff and I have been hard at work on our manuscript, and we hope to submit to Functional Ecology later this month!

Great first day at #JMIH2025! So many incredible presenters. Feeling very lucky to be in a position to attend a conference like this. Having a scientific community really is something special.

If you’re here, catch my talk tomorrow morning in Physiology I about eastern red-back thermal bio!

Know our history. Keep telling our history. We can’t trust the government with it. Keep sharing our history so we can hold on to what the bastards try to take from us.
