Logging into the Alan Turing institute portal and being served the @cloudflare.social 'are you human' verification box/check is indeed...hilarious timing 😂
'Love' all the advice from recruitment managers and sales directors on questions to ask when being interviewed
... for tech roles... When they don't actually hire for the roles you apply for. They are just the bridge between. Ask read line and hiring managers what they care about.

She's 35. Amy's brain tumor has returned. Given her 6-9 months to live. 6 months being 12.12.25. Celebrations have commenced as we all say goodbye. Rome was amazing. She is back there now for a "cheeky weekend" actually.

She is not on BSky so I can post into the ether here. Vent. Lament.

Turns out nobody has written a book about the history of left-handed people's experiences with household tools across different cultures. But I have found a book about one man's journey trying tomatoes in every country...

Lily Allen's new album artwork by Nieves González is a masterclass reinterpretation of the classics in portraiture. I am obsessed now with Nieves work and want one! It's just stunning.

Watching the participants for the Harvard innovation competition is amazing... Solving actual problems not just making people think there's a problem.

Just amazing to see.

It's the first day after Diwali...so of course fireworks are going off. For the scared dog we need to have classical music playing and subtitles on the TV.

But we are watching a horror series...

The combo....is...more than weird.

Horror music clashing with classical... intermittent dog barks

I'm just gonna say it. The sheer amount of people that contact me after posting a job role, that have issues applying because they did not read the full job spec properly is unreal considering they are software testers. Only 1 person out of over 200+ in the last 3 yrs had a genuine blocker.

When an article has "There’s a lot to unpack here. Let’s begin." It's a bit of a sign it's written by AI....

Married at first sight UK is my guilty pleasure. Just to note I would choose Dean. The fuckers at that wedding are disgusting and rude.

To the 'bad actor' Cyber investigator in London today that walked into an office with just a broken laptop to "look the part" and got into the office. Well played luv. That's why they pay them the big bucks.

It's not just TCS enabling huge cyber attacks it's nice shoes too lol

"Science is magic we understand. Magic is science we don't understand yet"

Love this so so much.

the 20-year delay in NHS data dissemination is not a surprise but also terrifying. Unless your doctors are actively updating their research and educating themselves they don't have all the info you might need. Patient advocacy is more important than ever!
