spent two hours with a wrench and a torch to try and figure out why my 6GHz calibration standard was dead. If it wasn't broken before it sure is now. Tiny little ceramic substrate PCB with two carbon traces that combine to make an extremely precise 50Ω load, and now unfortunately in two pieces.

all the best windows software in history is called something like "joe's thing doer". it does the thing and nothing else and is available on a html website in plain text and takes up under a megabyte of space and uses default windows ui elements and will work until the heat death of the universe

This is still one of my all-time favorite tracks. I tried blending my orchestral and electronic stuff together and it worked way better than I expected.
