The #celticfc statement also speaks of an Academy objective to create 'Champions League players' as if they will somehow spring to life by their mere mention. Where are they? You can't wish them into being. How is this failure being addressed? Take responsibility and clear out the duds on the board.

Even if you take that #celticfc statement at face value, it does nothing to address issues with stadium infrastructure which cash reserves can be used for, and to call out leaks to press on transfers is the ultimate hypocrisy given the latest media reports on our manager. Get rid of the dead wood.

Rodgers takes the flak for our inability to win against poor sides, which is fair enough. But, he also has to battle against a board that quickly broke its promise to match his - and our - ambition. We simply don't have the quality needed to play his system and the board gladly hang him out to dry.
