Glad they released a DQVII remake demo, I don’t think it’s bad, but they cut a lot of stuff in the beginning which are very important for atmosphere and world building, it’s been streamlined to it’s detriment.

Can’t think of a game that did something like this and had good pacing
RE Requiem: Grace and Leon’s playable sections are almost equally split. The structure is similar to Resident Evil Revelations.

it's been more than two decades since Rome Total War, and the games have mechanically regressed overall since then, tomorrow's announcement would be the first proper Historical TW since 2019, hope it's not just prettier visuals, and an actual RTW style revolution in design.

Games I've beaten in the last few weeks but found them kind of mediocre...
SHf was ruined by the excessive focus on the janky combat...
NG4 was too button mashy with spongy hyper armor enemies and the levels were lame

Looks pretty damn good! Hopefully no cut-content from the PS1 version
Every time I start to enjoy SIlksong the game throws me a damage sponge boss with 3 phases. So many long winded boss fights..
I think I like the first game more, better atmosphere and balance. It's a pretty good metroidvania, but I was never too crazy about it as some people are.
