me when I spent some time preparing a really nice breakfast, got it just right, even put effort into the presentation and then on the way to the couch I stub my toe and remember I left the kids at the dog park

One big goal I have for this year is to use my time a bit more deliberately and not waste so much time just disinterestedly scrolling or decision-paralyzing myself about what I want to do all day and then end up not doing anything. I've made some decent progress in that regard already.
