People across the country are paying more than $700 more this year on essentials than they were last year, and New Jerseyans are paying more than the average American.

Trump is trying to deflect the blame. But his party controls the entire government—these are HIS policies.

Republican Senators shouldn't get to fleece the American people as a condition for ending their shutdown. I'm for axing the slush fund.
November 14, 2025 at 4:24 PM
More than HALF your take-home pay. Imagine if that was what your insurance premium jumped to. Are you just supposed to hope and pray you never get sick?

That’s what Republicans forced millions of Americans like this constituent to do. This is the kind of cruelty I voted against.

Don’t let RWJBarnabas get away with stripping Long Branch of our hospital WITHOUT OUR SAY!

You’re invited to join me at the public hearing on the closure of Monmouth Medical Center hospital in Long Branch today and SPEAK OUT for care that serves our community WHERE WE ARE.

I voted NO to cutting your health care. I voted NO to sending your neighbors into bankruptcy because they can't pay for their health insurance. I voted NO to making your relatives sicker. Republicans simply could not care less.
November 13, 2025 at 1:25 AM
Let’s cut through the noise: this is a DEAL WITH THE DEVIL. Republicans are making millions of Americans UNINSURED, and they don’t seem to care.
November 13, 2025 at 12:54 AM
House Democrats are united. We're not letting Republicans jam their harmful deal that STEALS YOUR HEALTH CARE through the people’s House—we'll keep fighting.

Trump KNEW Epstein was trafficking girls—according to new reporting, he even spent HOURS with them.

What are Trump's rubber-stamp Republicans helping him cover up? Vote 218 on the Epstein discharge petition is coming TODAY.
MORE DOCUMENTS obtained by Oversight’s subpoena of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate include communications between Epstein and Steve Bannon, Larry Summers, and others. Take a look: oversightdemocrats.house.gov/sites/evo-su...
🚨BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.

Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES.

It’s DAY 43 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. Mike Johnson just ended the longest Republican vacation in history so he could join Senate Republicans in selling out the American people. I’m not playing along—I’m a NO.
November 12, 2025 at 4:19 PM
They go on TV and talk like moderates. They go back home and sound reasonable. But then they go to the floor of the House and vote like extremists.

Here’s a hot tip: Tom Kean and Jeff Van Drew will vote again to increase your health care costs this week.
November 11, 2025 at 6:48 PM
It’s DAY 42 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. Senate Republicans are trying to get the House to pass one of the worst “deals” in history.

They shut the government down for over a month and the best thing they can come up with doesn’t even do anything to save your health care? Give me a break.
November 11, 2025 at 2:38 PM
This Veterans Day, I’m grateful to all the veterans who served our country to protect the freedoms we hold dear as Americans.
November 11, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Senate Republicans JUST pushed their shutdown deal through. When it gets to the House, I’m voting HELL NO.
Senate Republicans are handing Trump a win and Americans a hospital bill. Nothing says “public service” like making health care unaffordable again. Letting ACA tax credits lapse means millions lose coverage and millions more pay more.

Bonnie Watson Coleman blazed trails for New Jersey. She leaves behind a legacy of fighting for working families, from securing paid leave in the General Assembly to her fight to expand health care for pregnant women, as the first Black woman elected to the U.S. House from New Jersey.

William Ward, my constituent from Neptune, had been unable to receive his medals recognizing his distinguished service to our country.

My office helped him get the recognition he deserves, and today, I participated in a ceremony where he received his medals.

We’re more than a week into open enrollment and about a month and a half into the Republican shutdown—and constituents are telling me that their new health insurance premiums are going to BURY them.
November 10, 2025 at 2:40 PM
It’s DAY 41 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. Republicans are tearing up every policy that keeps your health care with no concrete solution in sight to drive down costs.

I’m not going to accept this “deal” from Senate Republicans, because it doesn’t protect your health care.
November 10, 2025 at 2:20 PM
Senate Republicans are handing Trump a win and Americans a hospital bill. Nothing says “public service” like making health care unaffordable again. Letting ACA tax credits lapse means millions lose coverage and millions more pay more.

It’s DAY 39 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. Republicans are putting Americans’ food security and safety in the air at risk because they don’t care if your costs skyrocket. It’s not hard to understand.
November 8, 2025 at 3:42 PM
If they can’t afford food, let them eat Ozempic!
November 7, 2025 at 8:09 PM
Why is Trump fighting to starve Americans?

It’s DAY 38 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. Another day of the longest government shutdown in American history, and another day of my constituents telling me that they can’t take the price hikes that Republicans forced on them—even though Trump says they don’t exist.
November 7, 2025 at 1:56 PM
A constituent at last night’s SNAP telephone town hall asked me if the Republicans were stealing food by withholding SNAP benefits, because they can’t steal Americans’ health care.

My point of view? That’s EXACTLY what’s happening.
November 6, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Unaffordable health insurance, groceries, and rent—that’s the Republican agenda. I can’t think of anything more cruel.
