more chill glitch drums for modular synth. sounds simple but maybe the most complex patch i ever made. cycling thru simple drum breaks w/ sequencer + probability based clock synced repeats = glitch. all in synth in one take no DAW. i try to get tons of stereo separation in all the different parts.

recorded a few midwest emo style guitar loops and heavily processed them to make very lo-fi ambient trap-y stuff in the modular synth because why not.

a quick and dirty experiment on modular where i use metron to sequence and swap between various drum breaks via bitbox. this is a cool technique that i will use more.

stopped doing modular exercises for a bit to work on my album but this one from today was fun. i manage to get a square wave sounding a bit like a guitar feedback solo using smooth random to quantized pitch, and stepped random to filter cutoff, into bitcrush.

i recorded the motif from Outer Wilds on my banjo and made a lofi modular synth thing out of it, with all respect to the beautiful original. i am not the best player but i think it came out quite nice.

one repeating note from a banjo string fed into Mojave and it suddenly becomes this weird spooky harmonic minor harpsichord thing. awesome tbh.

here is a nice clean glitch melody with some dissonant elements that i like. this was a more complex patch and it came out quite nice. one take on modular synth no fixes in post. #synthsky
