Perspective is a beautiful thing. Today I took my first walk outside since breaking my foot in October. It was only a mile, but it made me so happy.

I will miss running in Florida because it’s much flatter here than at home. What I will not miss is ending up looking like a poppyseed bagel because I’ve run through clouds of gnats.

Our power has gone out twice so far today. Perfect weather outside, no utility work that I’m aware off. I’m starting to think the power company is just messing with me.
