Be interesting to see just how much I'm excluded from by not doing this, not that I use it to view adult content on purpose, but just where will it draw the line? Tumblr banned me for artistic 19th century nudes. A friend's blog made me confirm I was 18+ cos she swore a lot about crafts going badly!

It's so so hot, horse is spending the whole heatwave of a day alternating between dust bathing, lonnng shade naps under trees, and drinking buckets of cold water - and honestly it's pretty much the same for me (maybe a few less dust baths)😂

I'm working on non-Tiny art for the first time in such a long while. It's been years and over 1000 pictures for the same mini project - it felt likely I'd never tackle a full size drawing again. But one irresistible idea set me off, and I'm amazed by how easy it is to slip back into the swing of it.

The perfect amount of thin cloud to leave the solar eclipse beautifully visible with the naked eye - and I even see a sunspot showing in the photos!

It's SO satisfying to be building up an ever-growing archive of outfits, filling gaps in my Tiny project, and seeing them finished still gives me a lovely little happiness buzz every time. But I also really, REALLY don't want to reach the end of that to-draw list, so I hate how fast it's shrinking!🥲

2024 was kind of a lot to get through. An explosion caused a house fire, we had at least two floods and a wildfire, someone shot a hole in my window, my horse escaped, I had a health scare, and at one point I was drawing with my pen duck-taped to injured fingers.

We had presents from work last week, as well as the standard tub of chocolates to all, there was an extra one for me - an emu egg!
