Thekla is a very intriguing choice for champion. She's kind the female equivalent of Jacob Fatu. You know she is excellent in the ring and has a proficiency for violence in a scary way. She speaks excellently and intelligently despite being fueled by uncontrollable rage.

Thank God that title change wasn't dirty. AEW was starting to feel a little late-era WCW with the abundance of screwy finishes. Kyle needed that clean win. He's gonna have a huge year.
I don't think Ciampa loses much ground despite that loss. His performance was incredible.

I feel like #AEW is starting to let things slip.
- Doesn't make sense for Hangman to tell Omega and Swerve they won't be the next world champ, because he isn't in the conversation for next contender. Wouldn't it have made more sense to say "If you do win, I'll be right there to challenge for it."?

MJF won that match exactly how he needed to. He removed Swerve from the equation. He made sure to look Hangman in the eyes as he hit the low blow and removed him from the equation, before finishing off Samoa Joe, who had not yet fallen.

That match was odd. Statlander doesn't go for the pin after that incredible avalanche Michinoku driver, nor did Hayter attempt a pin after her big clothesline. The match didn't have much of a build, but I expected more in the ring from those two.

I don't understand why Netflix and Paramount don't simply divide the assets of WBD. Paramount clearly wants the channels, but doesn't need the movie studio. Netflix wants the content, but not the linear cable channels.

Mine has to be Kyle Fletcher. This kid is unbelievable. He stretches the boundaries of what young wrestlers are capable of. In the ring, on the microphone, solo or in a group... this kid's career has no ceiling.
