31 years ago today, Manic Street Preachers embarked on the UK leg of The Holy Bible tour, with Sleeper and Dub War.
This would be the last UK tour that Richey Edwards would ever do, playing his last three concerts just two months later, at the Astoria in London.

They stopped halfway through due to the amount of bottles being thrown - 1 hitting Nicky - before finishing, & Richey jumped from the speaker! #OTD

I don't think about Richey Edwards much these days, but then I'll come across a post once in a while and be gripped by a sadness that we don't have him around. He chronicled the late 20th century in such evocative ways. What would have made of the 21 century?
