Visited Victor Pasmore’s Apollo Pavilion in Peterlee today. I appreciate it more now than I did when I was a bairn. There is much less graffiti on it now and it’s less often used as a toilet.

I am at a council of governors meeting today and it’s my first visit to a university campus since I retired. They are preparing for freshers week. Not sure if there is an actual correlation but when I worked in a lab we used to see a spike in STIs a few weeks after freshers.
