A breakdown of this year's #Lexember. I created a total of 225 words in #Lasat, for an average of 7.26 words a day. Left, the number of words I created each day, and right is the total number of words split up by week (I counted the 29th, 30th, and 31st as week 5). This was fun! And probably insane.

Happy New Year, everyone! For the last day of #Lasat #Lexember, here's my fill for @madelinejames.bsky.social 's prompt "Something associated with the turn of the year".
December 31, 2025 at 5:15 PM
For @madelinejames.bsky.social 's #Lexember prompt "A role in society", some worldbuilding for #Lasat that I've written about on other sites.
December 30, 2025 at 8:17 PM
For @madelinejames.bsky.social 's #Lexember prompt "A formal greeting", I've been meaning to work on "Hello" and other greetings. In the 2nd image, #Lasat speaker Zeb demonstrates how to nira. (Disclaimer again as I do not own this character, I'm just a fan and not associated w/ Disney).
December 29, 2025 at 9:03 PM
To fill @madelinejames.bsky.social 's #Lexember prompt for today, I've enlisted the help of #Lasat speakers Chava and Gron to model for me.
(Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. This is a fanmade project and any opinions expressed by me about them are not those of the Disney Corporation).

Day 27 of #Lexember, and I'm on the right day again. Today it's @madelinejames.bsky.social 's prompt "A cultural or societal value". #Lasat speakers also value people who are ayini - "honourable, faithful, loyal".
December 27, 2025 at 10:14 PM
@biblaridion.bsky.social's prompt for the 26th of #Lexember was "An astronomical phenomenon". I am now tempted to try and translate Steamed Hams into #Lasat for some reason.
December 27, 2025 at 8:17 PM
Day 25 of #Lexember, as I was too busy Chistmasing it up yesterday. This is @biblaridion.bsky.social 's prompt "A weather condition" for #Lasat.
December 26, 2025 at 8:26 PM
@biblaridion.bsky.social 's #Lexember prompt today was "A kind of biome or landscape". #Lasat speakers, as tree-dwellers, are most interested in forests and wooded areas.
December 24, 2025 at 10:34 PM
You know when one word just leads to another....? It happened to me with @biblaridion.bsky.social's prompt today.
I'll do the rest of today's #Lasat #Lexember tomorrow.
December 23, 2025 at 11:53 PM
For @biblaridion.bsky.social 's prompt "A terrestrial landform", I was missing 3 of his 4 examples, so I made all of them - and all based around one root, tonvu. #Lasat #Lexember
December 22, 2025 at 9:16 PM
The conworkshop prompt for today was "Things you've Googled this week". These were both things I searched about for #Lasat #Lexember...
December 21, 2025 at 6:52 PM
For Jake's prompt for day 20, "A term of endearment"
sashem /sa.ʃem/ n. heart, soul
Originally referred to the physical organ. #Lasat #Lexember
December 20, 2025 at 10:52 PM
#Lexember entries today are going to be a bit all over the place as I'm doing it in between various Activities. December, you know how it is. Anyway, here's the r/conlangs prompt "Stimulants" for #Lasat.
December 19, 2025 at 6:09 PM
For Jake's #Lexember prompt "A way of learning" today, I'm going with:
rafdima /ɹaf.di.ma/ v. to memorize, to learn by rote; to study
from rafka /ɹaf.ka/ v. to learn, discover and udima /u.di.ma/ v. to sing or chant.
Many #Lasat traditions are passed down in chants and songs 🎶🎵
December 18, 2025 at 10:35 PM
Miles' prompt for #Lexember today was "An Act of trickery":
rognadzat /ɹog.na.d͡zat/ n. riddle
from rogusha /ɹo.gu.ʃa/ v. to confuse, puzzle, bewilder and nadzat /na.d͡zat/ n. utterance, phrase
Just for fun, here's an example I translated into #Lasat.
December 17, 2025 at 10:50 PM
Miles' prompt for today was "A means of execution". Capital punishment has fallen out of favour among #Lasat speakers, however a firing squad was historically used for certain military crimes. #Lexember
December 16, 2025 at 11:13 PM
For Miles' #Lexember prompt, "A means of transportation", we're taking inspiration for #Lasat from one of my favourite sci fi novels, Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky.
mintsolres /min.t͡sol.ɹes/ n. cable car
from dimin /di.min/ n. string, rope and tsolres /t͡sol.ɹes/ vehicle, machine
December 15, 2025 at 3:30 PM
For day 14 of #Lexember, I'm starting with the Conworkshop prompt for once to let my ideas for Miles' prompt stew a bit. The CWS prompt is "Things you would NOT want to receive for your birthday", so time to add some common words that are kinda gross to #Lasat.
December 14, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Today's #Lexember prompt from @conlangery.com was "A word for an animal sense/sense organ". I'm pretty sure #Lasat speakers would have whiskers - most non-great ape mammals do. On the other hand, they're not native to earth, so don't share the whiskered common ancestor.
December 13, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Day 12 of #Lasat #Lexember, and @conlangery.com 's prompt was "A word for flight-related anatomy". I was convinced I had a word for "wing" already, but my dictionary says otherwise.
December 12, 2025 at 11:58 PM
Day 11 of #Lasat #Lexember! The prompt from @conlangery.com was "a specific type of tooth". I saw the opportunity for three good ones. That consonant cluster in kusvrahdz is a mouthful - pun intended.
December 11, 2025 at 9:50 PM
Today's #Lexember prompt from @conlangery.com was "an animal weapon". I ended up with three for #Lasat! Suprisingly, the hardest was elchet, "venom".
December 10, 2025 at 11:00 PM
For @conlangery.com's prompt "Insect parts", 2 metaphorical extensions for #Lasat #Lexember:
jokarn /d͡ʒo.kaɹn/ n. thorax
Extended from jokarn, torso; from karn /kaɹn/ n. body. The source of jo- is unknown.
ozye /oz.je/ n. abdomen (of an insect). Extended from ozye, belly (mammal). A priori.

Day 8 of #Lasat #Lexember, to fill @dedalvs.bsky.social 's prompt of "Something to eat on". In the same vein as dengat from a previous day:
bemgat /bem.gat/ n. plate, dish, saucer
from bem /bem/ n. leaf, frond and gati /ga.ti/ n. food
Historically, Lasat speakers would eat off broad leaves.
