Somehow my facebook reels have recently been filled with either "foreigners" in arguments with police or sanseido/racist politicians calmly walking through anti-racist demonstrators. I'm not sure exactly how that happened but another reason to try to use facebook less.

packman fever!
The folks at Google created a new Pac-Man game to celebrate this incoming Halloween, as well as the 45th anniversary of the franchise!

In this 8-level doodle, the classic arcade antics don the theme of Pac-Man trick-or-treating at the Ghost Gang's houses.

wonder how these kids -- who ran after me as i left the hongyan hall -- remember their childhood when looking around chongqing today?
October 22, 2025 at 10:42 AM
i was interested in revolutionary history at the time, so went to this hall which, if i remember correctly, was the headquarters of the ccp in chongqing. interest in that era was low in the mid-90s, so i was rarely bothered when visiting these places. got someone to take a photo of me there, tho.
