I'm sorry it's come across that non-chromium based browsers were completely disallowed. That dialog was there so people would test in another browser first, and that it's the browser mostly used when developing. I do not have browser tests in place.

While we're not a true replacement to something like Discord, we're extremely thankful you all decided to give us a shot! Our chat rework (yes, we have a barebones chat) is on the way 🫡
We'll be setting up a forum to be a replacement for those leaving Discord for good.

🔞 We have now surpassed 2 months since this has been in effect. The notices letting you know of the change will no longer appear on Packbase and has been stripped from our Terms (nothing is required on your end for that).

We're still trying to resolve the issues causing Packbase to be unavailable.
The issue is stemming from our database refusing to deploy, which is now out of our control and our host is working on it to see what's going on. Data is unaffected.

📈 Howls now have a 15GB upload limit (1GB per asset), matching how much storage you can use in total (or 1TB/howl for void users). The total asset count has been bumped to 100.

You're now able to use a phone number as an authentication method, for select country codes. Some numbers like Google Voice will flag your account as spam.
This is an optional feature, email and passkeys are still encouraged!

While the final touches are prepared, I'd like to say a quick reminder:
Packbase is going 18+ on the 10th of December - less than 5 days remain. You will soon need to provide a date of birth (NOT ID), or delete your account. Depending on your region, you may lose access fully, regardless of age.

🛠️ We've rectified an issue of new user accounts getting an "User data is missing!!!" error. Refreshing the page should now show you the onboarding process.

We'll be opening public registrations soon, with probably the most chunkiest update we've done so far (some of it is already live :3). This version is still considered alpha. See you soon!

This was caused by a recent change with how we route traffic, causing some users to drop connection midway through loading Packbase. Sorry again!

✅ We're observing better loading times now! We've improved our infrastructure to better handle spikes in the future.
🔧 We're experiencing higher than usual traffic caused by an influx of user sign-ups. Actions like loading the feed is affected.
