I know I'm way late to the party #GamerParent, but the lack of polish in Street Fighter 6's World Tour mode is so frustrating *because* the mode is otherwise so novel and often very fun. I'm jolted out of my good time way too frequently by awful game design choices and lazy implementation.

We really need to create some kind of regulated designation for news websites held to enforceable journalistic standards. The fact that stuff like this can just be written up and passed off as researched news blows my fucking mind.

Kind of off topic, but it's so encouraging to see a political discussion where someone is mature enough to admit to lacking information.
I'm convinced it's damaging to the psyche at this point to listen to every word that man says. I know what I need to know. I'll just read about it.

Finally finished Disco Elysium and absolutely adored it. I didn't connect with the addiction/depression stuff like some others, so I mostly did a sober redemption play through. But it's just a damn funny, stylish, and well-written game. And Kim Kitsuragi is the GOAT NPC partner.

You can always tell when a writer or creator who doesn't game is behind something. One of the reasons I mostly hated Ready Player One. The author clearly had no knowledge or appreciation for games or gaming/pop culture outside of his preferred era.

Started it this past week, and it's so good. Some of the way they portray how video games work is pretty cringe, but I get why certain creative decisions were made. π

Wish this was Reddit so this could get upvoted to the top. People spreading this stuff on social media like he was humiliated for a thing he 100% never intended to follow through on is hugely problematic for dealing with the actual, horrifying issues he's creating.
