Trump wants to bring back coal—but coal is already on its way out, and for good reason. It’s outdated, dangerous, and deadly: more people have died in US coal mines than all the people from the US who died in Vietnam, the Gulf War, and the Iraq war combined.

Today, EPA's Lee Zeldin announced rollbacks on key environmental regulations, including pollution limits for coal plants, climate rules & EV standards. He called it a “consequential" day of deregulation, but for those who care about clean air & water, it's one of the most destructive in US history.

Elon Musk, the unelected head of “government efficiency,” demanded federal employees report their weekly accomplishments—or risk their jobs. Let’s not ignore what federal scientists actually do. Here’s what they achieved last week (and every week)📤

Firings at Los Alamos included “the emergency preparedness manager,… the radiation protection manager,.. the security manager, the fire protection engineer, and two facility representatives”. This is shockingly irresponsible, to put it politely.

I guess someone finally told DOGE exactly what it is the NNSA does... "Oh, really?? Maybe we do need that after all." Aside from being illegal, this 'shoot first, think later' approach is going to catch up to us very soon.
