2024.12.12 FY-3G | 7790MHz | IR False Color image of the Alps. Adjusted X-Band RF chain boosts signal levels. Still some tracking errors due to poor calibration of the auto-tracking rotator. But because of the cold and wet weather it has to wait to fix that. 73

Last week I did some test and calibration auto tracking. I use UltraTrack from #USA-Satcom for controlling the dish. This is ofcourse a TimeLapse recording. The original video was 6 minutes and 30 secondes.

Welcome to my BlueSky account! This summer I built a new auto-tracking satellite dish for X-band reception. I made a fold down construction so I can lower the dish in case of absence or high winds.
