Thanks to the brilliant leadership at the NALC I am now earning $1000 less than I did last year, because taxes and insurance premiums have skyrocketed. I sure am glad that the “historic” contract we all voted no on got brute forced through anyway. Thanks Renfroe. You sure fought like hell.

it goes without saying but just in case it's not obvious, what ICE is doing now in MN is what regular cops have been doing for years to Black and brown civilians with impunity, it's just never been as concentrated and televised; this is just to say, it's not new and it's not un-american

I really have been enjoying this hobby. It’s such a relief of stress and in a weird way a healing of childhood neglect but also a quiz of how much story telling I can do with photos so to speak.

It only makes sense to have people who have to be driving on the road out and about during a storm. We’re half the traffic lights in the city are knocked out because of a power outage. My job truly cares about its people.

So there was a mass shooting in my state today. I worked pretty much danger close to where all this happened. I am incredibly frustrated now just because of the unnecessary violence in the lives that are potentially lost and the people that are hurt because of this, but also because of my job.
