My girlfriend has been playing a pretty cool mobile card game which is thoroughly ruined by the microtransaction model. They made a superb base game, but instead of cool new challenges, the levels are just grinding to see ads to grind to see ads. What a waste!
I want so badly to enjoy mobile games but the ecosystem they occupy apparently forces them into being annoying to play unless you are constantly purchasing magical coins at bizarre denominations that I refuse to understand.
