I can't remember if I reposted this one yet: the time I was possessed to draw X'rhun Tia and Kemakka. Face 2 miqos 🫶

Page one of a two page comic. Titled, "Someone, Somewhere, in Shaaloani". The first panel shows a behind shot of X'rhun, weapon drawn, as a mob of wild creatures close in around him. His inner thoughts are written out: There are so many of you now... The second panel is a close up of his face. His eyes dart around. In the background his signature hat sits in the sand. "Hardly fair," he thinks. "You've even knocked off my hat." The third panel is cut thru with three consecutive bullets, literally punching through the panel with "bang! bang! bang!" past X'rhun. X'rhun is in the middle of casting. He holds his concentration as his eyes look toward the source of the shots. Page two of a two page comic. The first panel shows Kemakka holding up his gun. "Well, I'll be damned," he says with a smile. "It's not often we get a fancy red mage passin' through." The second panel shows the two miqo'te standing next to each other. X'rhun turns to Kemakka to say, "Your bullets were a little too close for comfort." Kemakka replies, "Then I guess yer lucky I'm still a good shot." The third panel is a split panel showing Kemakka lining up a shot as X'rhun focuses on casting a spell. Kemakka looks cool as can be as he says, "Just focus on yer castin' and I'll keep 'em at bay." There is non-dialogue text attributed to no one in particular at the end that reads, "Like old times."

Makoh'to is shown looking content as he says, "Good night, Gaius."
