OUFC Oxford United season ticket holder, North Stand, played school footy with Joey is my claim to fame!
@youaremyoxfordpod.bsky.social Just got round to listening to the Paul Moody interview. Really great stuff, I've never really heard him speak like that before, so it's great to put a personality to the name, kind of fills out your understanding of him as a footballer and as a person. Thanks so much.

That's two poor performances in a row, and time for some changes. Romeny looks pretty good, actually. Hard to see how Harris has been keeping him out #oufc

Not at our best, and lots of errors in that half. Credit to Stoke for their work rate, this game is massive for them #oufc

We looked second best for the vast majority of that half. One bit of quality from us and somehow we're in front, but well battled lads! #oufc

On a shuttle bus from Leeds city center to Elland Road. The home fans sound confident 😑

Three tests for whether this was the right decision:

1. Current run of bad form and results comes to an end
2. More of the new signings show they can play well at this level
3. We stay up

Maybe only 3 matters, but hard to see how that doesn't involve 1 & 2.

My view is we're having the kind of problems we knew we'd have, and I'm not going to waste too much time worrying about it.

Staying up is a big ask, and I trust Des and the players will do their best. I'm staying positive.

Too many players have had really bad games tonight. Kioso has had a nightmare.

Really good article on John Aldridge. Our best ever signing? Often wondered why we don't talk about him more

Oxford United record breaker convinced Liverpool and Kenny Dalglish - it's the ultimate transfer blueprint
John Aldridge's goals took Oxford to the top division out of nowhere, what would they give for a striker like that now?

Des' job isn't to show us players we're curious about. Des knows exactly what Marselino can do and will play him if and when it's right. Introducing him before he's ready would be bad for him and disappointing for us.

For those of you who might not be aware just how close we came to merging with Reading, under Robert Maxwell #oufc

Robert Maxwell's plans for Oxford United and Reading FC are still hard to believe
The former Oxford chairman' vision to combine Oxford and Reading was met with mixed reactions

Whilst Boro were very good yesterday, the difference was the finishing. Someone was eventually going to find the net well against us and no real surprise it was Boro, and we still scored 2 goals. My level of concern about us staying up has not changed on that result.

Two key moments of the first half, the Moore tackle and penalty, but then Harris has a fantastic chance to score to make it 2-1 to #oufc, the ball goes down the other end and Borough score. Crucial moment.

I visited Auschwitz several years ago and it had a profound effect on me. Seeing the abuse heaped on this account was a reason I left X. Please follow and learn about the history of Auschwitz...
We are on @bsky.app.

Please consider following @auschwitzmemorial.bsky.social where every day we commemorate the victims & educate about the tragic human history of Auschwitz.

My son writes two or three articles a week about #OUFC for Football League World. He's a Sports Journalism graduate and season ticket holder. He also played in the academy for a while. I'll post new articles here when they come out footballleagueworld.co.uk/oxford-unite...

Oxford haven't won away from home this season, and might have to wait a little bit longer

Have just finished Monsters: The Menendez Story on Netflix. Quite a story, but an incredible series. Episode 5 is the most intense TV I've ever seen, it had me speechless. Have also watched the documentary on Netflix, also excellent. Highly recommend both.
