Citizenship markers on licenses? I can't wait to get my citizenship to vote again these assholes. What the hell.

Intolerance paradox comes to mind with the news of the death of a prominent MAGA yesterday. The tolerant can't be tolerant of intolerance.

I'm not cheering. But I can't find myself upset over the gun death of a Nazi that couldn't himself get upset over gun deaths of children. Kinda fucked up.

I had an ulnar nerve transposition surgery yesterday on my right elbow. I'm right dominant, in a hard cast for 2 weeks. Trying to do anything 1 handed with my left hand is proving difficult 😂 Thankfully my husband took this next week off work! I'll eventually need my left done as well. Aging sucks!

It's interesting that the same people who scream about their 2nd amendment rights - the right to bear arms (with the idea to protect against tyranny) are the same people who are just fine with watching tyranny happen.

Someone want to tell him that's not how to lead in a free democracy?

Oh wait, he's turning the US into a fascist dictatorship. My bad.

It's devastating to watch this happen in real time.

Where's the files?

This was a sad realization. One of the main resources I use to research medical things is the NIH (US) medical studies. It's not as good as having access to what a doctor would, but it's better than trusting AI and FB. Thanks to RFK Jr, I'm finding myself less trusting; what if it's been altered?

1/ I made the mistake of going down a rabbit hole. It's started on Reddit with a post about @wyden.senate.gov calling out the Epstein money trail. Which somehow led to Facebook. Which led to the comment in this image.

I'm so tired I just screenshot my FB post and copied the text for the alt instead of trying to shorten it for Bluesky 🥱

3 hours sleep after 2 the night before. My mother had me when she was 43. I know lots of women are choosing to have babies later in life. Hats off to them! I'm 46. I could not do this longer term. My brain feels scrambled, but like the whisk was missing a wire so it was a crappy job... 🥱

Oof, it's been a rough 24 hours. Storm has been crying/whining all day and I got about 2 hours 😴 taking care of her. She's finally starting to doze more so I'll be setting up a nest next to the crate tonight and hope for a little more 💤 #husky #dogsofbluesky #dog #surgery #alberta #canada

My girl Storm had TPLO surgery today and now has a plucked chicken leg and temporary rat tail, and is super f'ed up on anesthesia and fentanyl.

It's Prime Day on Amazon so everything in my wish list is jacked up in price and then "discounted" to a couple dollars less than the normal price. Though a few items are more than when I added them.

Yes, Amazon is evil. We buy everything we can locally but sometimes it's the only decent option.

When I lived in Idaho (late 90s - early 00s), Coeur d'Alene held events like kkk parades. The whole state is mentally unstable but that city is a hotbed for the crazy to really congregate.

Sorry for the mentally stable stuck in that shit hole.

Both my younger sons want to join the Canadian Forces within the next year or so, but of course Trump had to start a war. Hopefully Carney has the sense to keep Canada out of it.

I absolutely despise how much support Trump has. I cannot possibly be the same species as those people.

My girl, Storm, needs TPLO surgery, she tore her CCL and her knee wobbles like mine did with the complete MCL repair. Probably be in 2-3 weeks to let inflammation go down, assuming we can afford it 🤦🏽‍♀️

I ordered a cold therapy machine for my knee and it came today, only 2 days from BC (I love that UPS will deliver to our very rural farm, it didn't used to be that way!) and I am In Love. So much more coverage and consistent cold than an ice pack. Can't wait to be healed!

One week since the surgery. One week cooped up in the house, hobbling around on crutches. 3 weeks off work. Minimum of 3 weeks to go. Seedlings badly need to be put in dirt, but the garden and greenhouse need work before that came happen....

I'm going a little crazy with cabin fever 🤪
