What a wonderful day filing for the city council race. Not only do I derive inspiration from so many talented leaders before me but I was surrounded with supportive folk who truly care about our city and are giving me such encouragement. I'm delighted by the opportunity to represent South Charlotte!

Amazing event with Put NC First and Justice Riggs at Ruth’s Chris Tuesday night. Truly would love better transportation infrastructure for Charlotte as getting uptown was no joke with all the commuters and excitement for soccer! Almost 2 hours to get 9 miles from South Charlotte to uptown!

I got to spend Saturday afternoon in community with city leaders dedicating the new Hugh McColl Park. Gorgeous artwork and such a lovely tribute to a man who has meant so much to our city. Got to reintroduce myself to him as it has been quite a few decades since I did Leadership Charlotte!
