hey bluesky. if you’re looking for a gift for a kid this christmas, might i suggest… myself. i just released a heavily illustrated anthology of poetry that runs from nursery rhymes to the 1600s to the early 20th century.

second rejected cartoon. i liked this one. perhaps i am just built for the internet, where readers are more comfortable with creatures in complex implied mortal danger.

here’s some cartoons that got rejected from the new yorker. first up. someone on my end said they wouldn’t go for a joke about “kids drowning”. it’s not really about that though, is it? i think we’re getting a little sensitive here.

it's unreleased images week, as the laboratory is "all hands on deck" for the next book.
