I'm Cake-- an Oregon-based mixed media artist! I mostly work digitally, but I also use copics and markers when I get the traditional art itch.

I like exploring various topics through the facets of bodyhorror and surrealism 💜

Having a Normal one this Christmas
In the first panel of the comic sketch, Uni (a unicorn cat with big round glasses, a heart choker and fluffy hair) is sitting at a desk, exhausted, looking down at a blank sketchbook. They sigh, their speech bubbles reading “Man… What happened? I used to love doodling mindlessly in my sketchbook…” The second panel shows them jolting upright, heart cracking and glasses turning to static as a violent shiver overtakes them. Their thoughts shriek loudly, represented by the scratched text behind them that reads, “WE NEED TO TAKE COMMISSIONS OR WE DIE!!!!!!!” In the third panel they’re tense, forcing a panicked grin through tears as they shove the sketchbook and pencil off the table and shout “OH RIGHT HAHAHA, I FORGOT!” Uni is sitting with their back turned to the viewer, head in their hands as they sob. Boxing Day is about punching ppl, right? Squidmas certainly is! No one in charge at HHS has any business making medical decisions.
