A closer look at the wave design tool: I add spawners, and then "blocks" that contains the enemy type, how many to spawn, when to spawn the next block... I can't even describe how much better it is than to do it by editing data tables in engine, seriously #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev #devtool

ELEMENTS TIME 🤖 Elements and their reactions are really important in AI.VI, and it's important to test the player, so we've added a family of enemies that are immune to (some of) them! From small and fast to slow and heavy, the bigger ones break apart to spawn two smaller ones. #gamedev #indiegame

We've worked on a LOT of new levels these past few weeks, like this one! The ideas were "tight city streets" and "neutral turrets". Lanes are simple, and the player can use the rooftops to move quickly!

It hurts, but we dropped the third level we made. It had a gimmick around pushing enemies in lava, but in the end it just made it so the player didn't really need to... play. Be active. Do ANYTHING. So we'll rework it into something classic but fun! #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev #towerdefense #fps
