In case anyone is curious about the northern Virginia housing market as of mid-January, we went to an open house Saturday in a total downpour and it still looked like someone’s parents were out of town and the kids were throwing a total rager. Had to wait in line to get in to the house.

She and my dad visited the museum a few years ago and as they were leaving casually mentioned how she used to work there and had met the president and the docent was like, whoa hold on a minute let me grab the museum director

My mom worked at the Truman Library in Independence when she was in high school. He’d come in to his office there every day and she met him at least once

I’ll admit that this is a problem, but what if, and hear me out, but what if Congress created some sort of independent agency that protected consumers in the financial sector? What if this hypothetical consumer protection financial bureau could make rules to regulate banks and lenders?! If only…

Anytime this past week that we’d say that we were “going home” our 2.5yo would correct us and say, “NO! Nanapapa’s house!” Because there’s only one home for her and it’s West Campus ❤️ Anyway, we’re home now.
