At University of Cambridge, I was asked if I maintain a sense of optimism about climate change. My answer:

Yes, because unlike cancer, where we often don't know the cause and don't have a cure, we know exactly why global temperatures are rising and how to stop it. We just need the political will.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Happy non denominational winter festival.

NASA released an image of NGC 2264, a group of young stars, that's also known as the 'Christmas tree' cluster. I released pictures of my dogs opening presents.

Good on Diary of a CEO, Huberman and other grifters. Why do podcasts spread so much misinformation? Because it's their business model.

#GenAi & I just had a conversation around entropy & I learned that although life seems to defy entropy by creating order & complexity, but doesn’t violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Life is a mechanism for redistributing energy, using it to decrease entropy locally whilst increasing it globally

Why I love GenAi - I just asked why doesn’t our atmosphere collapse under gravity…and learnt about the pressure gradient force and our atmospheric hydrostatic equilibrium.
