We're always happy to connect with freelance artists & we also recognise the importance of opening our doors for them to meet with us.
So, we're looking to meet with practitioners in the York area, who are interested & experienced in working with young people. Info at pilot-theatre.com/news/

Great to share my poster last night and have thought-provoking conversations with international colleagues on how we should be using the arts and creative methods to educate children on climate change. Thank you @priestleycentre.bsky.social Scenarios Forum 2025 for having me! 🎭🌏

Excited to present my poster later at the Scenarios Forum 2025, exploring how Drama can be a useful classroom tool in teaching climate change and promoting youth climate action. 🎭🌏 #steam
As well as an array of plenary and parallel sessions at Scenarios Forum 2025, there are plenty of research posters to take a look at.

And you'll be able to speak to the associated experts at the drinks reception this evening 🍻 🍷 ☕

It’s conference season and I’ve been busy sharing my emerging research: first the School of PCI’s symposium themed on Embracing Liminalities, followed by the School of Education’s PGR conference themed on positionality in research. Both were great, supportive environments to share ideas!

Loved North by Northwest by @wisechildren.bsky.social - brilliant fun, great music, so creative! From first seeing the Wild Bride in 2011 I’ve loved all the work from Kneehigh and then Wise Children, and this is another great show 🎭

Some positive news in this report- the establishment of a National Centre for Arts and Music Education. I wonder though about why we refer to 'arts AND music' - is Music not an art? Are they not all equal? I'd like to see all arts on the curriculum, for all children. www.gov.uk/government/n...
