Nine was still squirming and biting at the speedster with an animalistic growl, even when set down on the couch with the heavy blanket weighing him down.
"You're safe with me." He tells him as he places him on his couch. "Promise. When you're a person again, talk to me. We can figure this out."
A weighted blanket on the Kit's shoulders. A warming pad between his paws. A water and a mint cocoa ready to go--

In Sonic's lap, Nine physically squirms and actually tries to bite at Sonic.
His breathing was shallow, his heartrate racing.
