I love children and learn so much from them like forgiving others, enjoying life more and just being who you are. Online school has allowed me to learn from a distance, make connections with a diverse community of people, and still have a life that I can be happy and excited about. This is my third year working at the Hood River School District and the staff has been more than supportive, working alongside OSU so I can further my education. I have also met great people at OSU like Shoshanna Holman and Melissa Potter who have encouraged me to keep moving forward. I also want to thank Meagan Schorr with TEACH Columbia Gorge GYO who has been an enormous help in finding the financial resources for school.

As future educators, I think we all want to help the next generations be more prepared, and Ment2Teach helped me do that!” “I think the highlight of my year with Ment2teach was the picnic with KDP. The tote bag painting was very fun and practical, but I also found that doing art together was a great way to get to know each other even more!
