Sometimes I'm still blown away by the print resolution on these hobby resin systems. That top ring is about as thick as a fingerprint ridge and it came out intact.

I may have forgotten that I left these prints in the sun to cure. But it'll be interesting to see whether polymeric shrinkage is an issue with the Anycubic resins. Turning an oops into data collection--perfect embodiment of science.

If you wanted to, you could take a bunch of mouse CT scans, segment the femur bones, convert them to 3D models, use mesh averaging to get the mean model, and #3Dprint it in pink PLA at like 400%. Did I need to do it for science? No. Did I need to do it to see if I could? Bet your sweet ass I did.

She's 99% done (the paint on Jinx's bomb is drying so I'll add it later). Not perfect, but also not bad for my first attempt at airbrush painting.
