Yeah :)
But don't forget to take a picture for the archive, to be able to see the progress later on

Have you tried to add slowing agents? It still ain't going to be the same as oils, but gives you another 20 or so minutes workable time. I think nowadays there are already premixed slow drying "open" acrylics on the market

Yeah, that's what I heard is recommended by other artists too, it really gets the surface nice to paint on, but is a bit of a hussle ;)

It's worth trying other media, for me it helped to think differently about the painting, because of different inherent restrictions the media forces on me, and through trying it I somehow unconsciously transferred the technique to other media and got better with it as well. Brain works in weird ways

The idea is to seal the paper so that oil doesn't get in. I think I'll be properly gessoing the paper next time so that it will get some friction and texture ;)
Still be cheap enough for sketches/practice

Yeah, canvas isn't really needed and it takes way too much space to store. Also oils are really good for smooth surfaces, so I took a piece of thick paper(I think 200 g/cm, it's 3 times harder then copypaper), stretched it with tape and grounded and toned with acrylic paint so paper doesn't dissolve
