Look what Mr. C rescued for me from Le Noz today. Poor thing! It's not drooping. Its just bent. It spent too much time wrapped in cellophane. I was glad to let it out. I'll give it TLC until it can be planted in the garden in the Spring.

Last night I had a bath with one of the pink bath bombs Mr. C gave me for Christmas. I put on my pink nighty and new pink hand knitted Christmas socks from my Fairy Yarnmother. This morning I crocheted myself a matching pink headband. 💗

I got many lovely gifts today, but one had me perplexed at first. It was hard as a brick until I took it out of the packaging and it expanded. It's a U shaped pillow to put on my lap when I crochet to take the strain away from my elbows and shoulders. Brilliant!

Mr. C drove and I navigated for over an hour through pea soup fog to reach Elliotts Boucherie this morning! It was well worth it. The staff/owners were absolutely lovely and we got loads of English goodies that we haven't been able to find elsewhere. Meat pies, and sausages, and bacon, oh my!

Oops! I knew of the need for caution when cutting up beets, but I didn't think of it when I was chopping purple cabbage. A scrub brush has lightened the stains but I'm still a little blue. 😂

The amethyst heart has joined a small collection of heart shaped objects given to me by people who love me. I am wearing the clear crystal which fits perfectly in my silver basket necklace. The Kitsune figure is beautiful! The amethyst spheres are fascinating. I love Piglet and Mr. C loves Tigger and is bouncing around singing "The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers."
