Even with Trump’s sanctions and secondary tariffs, Venezuela still has buyers for its oil (mostly in China). The Merey-16 discount is stable and tankers still dock at Amuay and José.

#Merey16 The price of Merey-16 (a benchmark for Venezuelan oil) has not yet fallen due to renewed sanctions and the threat of secondary tariffs.

The discount to Brent (global benchmark) has been around $10 per barrel for the last month, while it was just $8 yesterday.

Brazil's northern state of Roraima will resume imports of electricity from Venezuela. Bolt Energy will be paying $192.49 per megawatt-hour.

That is despite Venezuela's electricity generation falling short of domestic demand.

According to an estimation by Petroguia, PDVSA's revenue would have risen to $1.5 billion this January.

That would be 45% more than the same month last year, or 75% more than two years ago.
