[NSFW] Excerpt from my fic "bite by bite":

“Stars, I—” G’raha’s breath flutters in his lungs, eyes wide and dark as he gazes up at Marx. “You know full well I cannot deny—haah,” His breath escapes in a gasp as Marx presses the heel of his hand more firmly against the front of his breeches, feeling him stiffen underneath.

“Good,” Marx growls into the crook of his neck, and bites him.

The Exarch lets out a broken moan beneath him. Marx releases the bite a moment later and lathes a rough tongue over the pale flesh marked red with the impression of blunt teeth. If the crystal was going to lay claim to the Exarch’s body piece by piece, he thinks, then he ought to stake his own territory, too.

Excerpt from my fic "All of Me Wants All of You":

“And what about what I want?” Marx leans in even closer. Their breaths intermingle. “Did you consider that?”

“Whatever it is, I’ll gladly—haah!!” His words dissolve into an acute cry as Marx brushes past his lips to deliver a sharp bite to his neck, to the space right above his archon tattoo. He releases his teeth a moment later and lathes his tongue over the red-marked ring.

“…Could smell it on you,” Marx says, fighting to steady his breathing. He presses his face against him, basking in that warm-spiced scent that had consumed his every waking thought since he’d noticed it bells ago. “It was all I could think of.”

Excerpt from an unreleased fic 👁️

“My dear, if you would only tell me what troubles you,“ G’raha says, reaching up to kindle the hanging lamp with a small burst of fire aether. “Full glad as I am to accommodate whatever brings you comfort, some forewarning next time would be—nnhaaaaah?!”

Teeth—sharp, hungry and desperate—close upon G’raha’s collarbone. The points of canines pierce the skin, drawing out a spark of crimson-bright pain. Marx lifts his mouth an ilm, breath heavy and hot against the inflicted wound. He takes a half-step backwards and turns his gaze to G’raha’s, eyes dark as an animal’s in the low light.

“Marx, what—” As G’raha’s eyes adjust, he can make out the shape of him. In the darkness, Marx has shed his outer layers, revealing smallclothes and skin. The flickering lamp light gleams in the shiny scar tissue over old wounds. His gaze regards the bloodied mark on G’raha’s neck, expression half-guilty, half-wanting.

“Sorry,” he says. “I didn’t—I wasn’t intending to bite you that hard.” He inclines his own head, exposing a stretch of pale, unmarked flesh. “Here. You can—to me, too. It’s only fair.”

“I’m not certain I follow…” G’raha regards him uneasily.

“Please,” says Marx. “It’s—I want it. Let me feel your teeth.”

aside from a (brief, disastrous) rebound with his alchemy mentor near the end of ARR, Marx had a purely physical FWB arrangement with Radovan (GNB job mentor), which was surprisingly wholesome and taught him he's a) into older guys and b) prefers top.

“My night sky,” he says softly. “Across these past hundred years, hardly a day went by that I did not think of you. At the time, I dared not imagine my feelings returned. Even now, I—I can scarcely believe...”

At his words, the fire in Marx’s chest surges bright again, melting away any remaining doubts. His grip tightens in the lapels of the Exarch’s robes. He pulls them together again, leaning in past his face. He breathes in deeply the scent of him: warm and physical and alive, they both are. He feels the soft brush of G’raha’s furred ear against his cheek.

“One time, you asked me,” he whispers, “If there was anything you could grant me. Anything that was in your power.” He holds fast, white-knuckled, as though G’raha might slip between his arms and into the Void if he lets go. “...Well, this is it. What I want. What I’ve always—”

A hand on his cheek stops him mid-sentence. It’s followed by the soft brush of another’s lips against his own, which effectively steals away the breath that would have formed any further words.

It’s hesitant at first, both of them wary of going too far too fast. A shaky exhale, half of a laugh against the curve of a smile. Warmth, undeniable, inside of him, suffusing his very essence. Happiness. Desire. He wants more. He leans in for another kiss, more breathless than the first. And another, lips parting with a soft sound, months and years and decades of longing condensed down to a single moment, the miracle that was the two of them together at last.

For the small eternity that follows, they each find there are more important things than speaking.
