Its been a month since i started using @gingerbill.org 's Odin language, so I feel compelled to finally write something about that

Turns out Vancouver gets humid enough that you can get stringing by the end of your long PETG prints even if u dried your filament right before (no desiccant in the box atm). Turned the dryer back on and it went away

Done with the first draft of a blogpost about Ark VCS: ark-vcs.com in the context of #unity3d and #VRChat projects

I've been blown away by how easy it has been to work with over the past month or two, so I'm hoping I can encourage more people to stop doing `myscene_backup_2` for backups

Ark is a new version control system built from the ground up for performance and ease of use. It comes as an alternative to Perforce and Git focusing specifically on being able to support big complex projects with binary files, such as the case in video games.

There are many amazing shaders out there, but I would also recommend trying out the shaders made by Orels (@orels1.bsky.social)

Lumines Arise by @enhance-experience.com is incredibly good. Cannot wait for the full release. The music is also an absolute bop, just like Tetris Effect, so I am having a hard time focusing on the game instead of just vibing to the beat

you gotta get this "ST2" addon. It add so many BASIC typesetting features that are just absent from vanilla blender. Case in point: opentype stylistic sets seen here. Saved me a major headache,

Setting up a personal gitea server for code-only projects, as well as migrating to ark-vcs.com for larger Unity stuff seems to have been the correct move considering all the recent events 👀

Been playing with some wetness effects for a #VRChat world recently. Took the math of @mochie.bsky.social 's water gerstner waves, rendered it to a texture, and then did some simple decay on it via Graphics.Blit. Its a little jank but I've stared at it long enough that I think its working #unity3d
