This week, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service issued an Endangered Species Act permit to the Oregon Dept. of State Lands — a milestone that means:

✅ The Elliott’s Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) is officially approved
✅ The marbled murrelet and northern spotted owl are getting long-term protection
