Thinking about how the actor for Sasha auditioned for Ilya and yes I'm glad it went to Connor but that's not what I'm gonna focus on. Language capabilities and vibes aside, two physical differences between them—height and eyebrows—made me appreciate what I enjoy about Connor ending up being Ilya.

oh life update: these nuis are now in my home, i have them now... got them second hand off surugaya and uhhh they are TWICE AS BIG AS I THOUGHT... i thought they were small enough to grip in my closed fist but instead their heads alone are bigger than a baseball

it's painful realizing after rewatching HR a bazillion times how much Ilya cries but so much quieter and less noticable. Shane's eyes are often more noticeably holding tears where we can see. Ilya's tears are always being wiped away, disguised as something else, before we really see it... OW OW OWIE

I finally saw a reaction today that actually paused to point out Ilya shaking it off and how good a transition it was, yaaaay haha (satisfied)
I've watched many many HR reaction videos and idk if it's just that it gets cut in the YT version and it is mentioned more in people's uncut paywalled versions but so far only like 1 person barely pointed out how Ilya shakes off his stress. I think about it all the time!!!

at first i was like idk if i can draw hr fanart cuz drawing any fanart of live action stuff is just not my forte, but if i can find a way to stylize or simplify Shane and Ilya enough that I don't just think of them as the actors then (Ilya bathroom voice) maybe... MAYBE... I will draw hr fanart
