I think negotiation is one thing, a call to surrender is another thing.

I don’t think Israel will link this issue — which it sees as a threat to its own existence — and its future to the current political context. All the commentary in Israel suggests that Iran is trying to buy time until Trump leaves office. Let’s wait and see.
