It's not perfect yet by any means but this time last year BKK air was in the midst of dark red. Mostly, this seems to be the result of public anger confronting official failures. Going in the right direction hopefully.

I bumped into this and Andrew took me down a number of fascinating Xmas song threads which embrace Spector, Kennedy, inevitably the Beatles, Slade and a whole lot more.
I think it's actually down to the way in the 1960s Britain caught on to American culture at a bit of a time-lag, plus the breakup of the Beatles. I shall explain in a thread.
I wonder how much of this difference comes from American Christmas being rooted in German culture?
